Here the client was looking for an injection of colour and was keen to “ban the beige”. I provided a scheme using a vibrant wallpaper to complement the existing curtains and chose colourful soft furnishings and accessories to complete the look.
The wallpaper I have used for this scheme is Willow Boughs x by Clarke and Clarke. Chosen as it pulls in the blue from the Harlequin curtains they already had, co-ordinating beautifully with the sofa x Natutzi Editions. Mustard soft furnishings and an oversized gold mirror have been used to complete the scheme, alongside an art deco chair and a vintage lamp to add character.
The client was delighted with this room and although there were simple touched, the colour in the wallpaper, new cushions and a few new accessories have made a huge difference to the space. They asked for a calm room, with colourful wallpaper to help pull the scheme together. Job done.
